During the warmer weather months, there’s no better way to enjoy the great climate than by dining outdoors. With all the outdoor dining and variety of dishes offered around the world, we’ve narrowed down the options to some of the most popular choices.

Head to Desert Camp in Morocco

This cluster of eye-catching white tents can only be reached by camel or helicopter. Enjoy mint tea and a bonfire as you dine in the middle of the desert in one of these glistening tents decorated with richly colored fabrics and detail. You will likely be eating the Maghrebi dish, Tagine or in some cases, the Mechoui.

Lunch by the Zambezi River in Zambia

Take a seat at one of the river tables at the Sausage Tree Camp in Zambia. The dining tables and seats are actually located in the river so take off your socks and shoes before you sit down for one of the most amazingly delicious lunches you will ever eat. Full table and bar service and a three-course meal will have you leaving forever pleased with your experience. You may even be lucky enough to see zebras, antelope and other species of wildlife during your lunch.

For Mouthwatering Barbecue, Try Asado de Cordero in Patagonia

The Las Torres del Paine National Park is home to an affluent amount of Patagonian lamb. One of South America’s most popular dishes includes barbecued Patagonia lamb also called Asado de Cordero. Due to the fresh quality of the meat and the rich flavor of the barbecue, this dish has gained worldwide attention.

Intimate Dining at Tali Wiru in Australia

This open-air restaurant showcases breathtaking views of the Uluru and domes of Kata Tjuta. Sit beside one of the firepits with champagne in hand while chowing down on canapes and other authentic dishes. At night, enjoy the peaceful sounds of the desert or the didgeridoo performances and stories told by the locals.

Take a Picnic in Iceland

Between the glaciers of Tindfjallajökull and Eyjafjallajökull lies the ridge named Thórsmörk where people from all over to picnic in the lush green valleys that create a thriving environment for over 170 plant life species. You can even head to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall or one of the many forests after your meal and before headed back down the wild terrain in your mountain vehicle.

As you can see these are just a few of the amazing options for alfresco dining around the world. Where would you like to enjoy great authentic food with spectacular scenery?
