 When you visit Sedona, it is an excellent base camp for exploring many parts of the Southwest. On vacation, we only had so much time, so we decided to take a guided tour of the Grand Canyon from Sedona. Our guide, Beau, from Pink Jeep Tours picked us up at our hotel for our journey north. There were about five other guests along on our tour. At Pink Jeep Tours they offer tours all over Sedona and the Grand Canyon area. You can take a Pink Jeep out to the red rocks for a fun off-road experience, and they offer luxury customized pink Mercedes Sprinter vehicles just for their more extended tours.  On the drive in on Arizona State Route 89A is where you begin to see the beautiful red rocks that make Sedona such a magical place to visit. Everywhere you look there are red rock formations of every shape and size. Our first stop was a resort recommended to me by many in my travel agent community.
