November is a great month for gratitude and being thankful for all that we have in our lives. With Thanksgiving next week, I wanted to share with you the many things in my life that I am thankful for, and I hope it gives you time to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life. My Daughters - I am very blessed to have two beautiful daughters that I am thankful for each day. As the years go by more quickly and they are becoming wonderful young ladies, I am grateful for their energy, innocents, and spirit that keeps me young at heart. They are both bright and curious, and I love when they share things they have learned. It reminds me of a time long ago that was much more innocent than it is today. My family - My parents have always been a source of support and strength, and I am so lucky to have them by my side with all the blessings and challenges life brings. I am thankful that my daughters have three grandparents that are always willing to help me with them when I need to travel for work. I am grateful for all the extended family I have, and with the last few years being ones where we lost a few close family members, they have been a source of support, which has brought us all closer. It does not matter how far or close my family is, the distance shows us that it is more important to stay in touch. My Close Friends – I am thankful to be very blessed to have some very close friends that I have had for many years. These friends have been with me through all the highs and lows that life has brought my way. I know I can count on them to always be there for me if I need them. It does not matter the time between talks or the distance; good friends will always be there. My clients – I have been fortunate to gain many new clients over the last ten years since I started my travel agency. All my clients have helped me grow in my business and my learning over the years. I feel very fortunate to be able to learn about destinations all over the world to bring the best vacation experiences to all my clients. Travel Colleagues and Business Associates – The tourism industry is a unique place with so many knowledgeable people that are willing to share their expertise and knowledge. I have met many new friends and acquaintances over the years that are there for support and guidance to help me in my business. Through these friendships and mentoring, I have learned best practices, and I am thankful for the backing of a great community of business partners and travel professionals. My travel opportunities - Yes, this is one of the perks of my business, but it is from these travel opportunities that I can gain greater knowledge of a destination or resort that I can then bring back and share with my clients. I love to travel to new and familiar destinations since it reminds me of the wonderful opportunities this world has to offer all of us. Since you never know what tomorrow will bring, ending your day with a thankful thought is something that I have adopted over the last years. There are so many things in this life to be grateful for; I hope you share your thankfulness with your family and friends. Share the knowledge
