Bill listened to where we wanted to go, what we thought we wanted to see, and he did the rest. Initially at our kitchen table, Bill made some suggestions, and then within 24 hours, Bill emailed us suggested flights, hotels, restaurants and side trips. Since he had traveled to Barcelona more than once, he had a wealth of ideas and suggestions. (I think he has traveled just about everywhere!) We never could have found the best prices he found in air flights, and he was very patient with us as we mulled everything over. We felt he was really working to please us. We would never travel without using Bill Tilburg. A total gentleman!

This has been the third time our family has used Bill's expertise to plan the perfect trip. Even given our challenging time frame (and not a great deal of time to make plans), Bill was able to make the ideal airline, hotel, train and transport arrangements which worked seamlessly for five of us. We traveled to Rome and Florence with a day trip to Siena and the Tuscan countryside; Bill gave us excellent advice on excursions, options for private and group tours to museums and was available at all times to help us with any questions we had. He finds great value on flights, researches a variety of hotels to consider, books all local travel for us from car rentals, train reservations, to subway instructions. And when things go wrong, like a work stoppage for an airline or airport, we simply email or call Bill, and within no time he calls back with the problems resolved and arrangements all made for us.

Bill believes in knowing his clients' preferences well, in offering them options, and in making sure all arrangements are perfect. We have used Bill for all our trips: from simple to complicated. He makes our vacations, which usually involve plane, trains and rental cars, seamless with detailed instructions as how to manage every step of the journey. One time British Air had a one-day strike cancelling some of their flights. We were unaware until we received an email from Bill informing us that our flight was cancelled and offering us options. We emailed back our preferences and he booked our new flights home. The whole process took about five minutes of our precious vacation time. I do a lot of research ahead of our trips, yet he manages to add quite a bit of knowledge. Once I chose a highly ranked hotel in Brussels and Bill told me that the neighborhood had declined a bit and recommended a different hotel We were glad we took his advice as he was spot on. He is better than the guidebooks. Bill is a joy to work with and terrific at his job.

My wife and I just returned from the ultimate vacation in southern Italy. Several nights in Rome near the Spanish Steps. Four nights at Il San Pietro in Positano and four nights at The Grand Excelsior in Sorento. Bill did a phenomenal job of planning all of the details, including private cars and tour guides. On one trip we were traveling from Italy to England and then home. Our flight home was canceled due to an airline strike. We didn't skip a beat! When we arrived at our hotel in London, a note greeted us at the desk letting us know about the cancelation (we had no idea), and that we had already been booked on a new flight! Amazing service! Bill has helped us with trips to Europe (Italy, England, & Spain) and within the United States (California & Alaska). Sometimes my husband and I travel as a couple, sometimes with a group of six, and sometimes all of the above on a single trip. With a request for info for a trip to Italy, Bill readily provided several options to fit our plans. Three different times I changed the number of people traveling with our party, and Bill took the changes in stride. As he dealt with the addition of people living in three different states through emails and telephone calls, Bill handled questions and concerns from a group of unsophisticated female travelers with assurances and thankfully good humor. Ultimately, the six of us enjoyed an incident-free, incredible journey through Italy with Bill adding a few surprises to enhance the experience. None of us would consider making travel plans without Bill's assistance and have already asked for info on a river cruise for 2017.
